Recently we decided it was time to just do it and try to move recording Personal Progress online. This seemed monumental, but has actually been fairly painless. Having our girls logging their personal progress online has meant that we can access and see where they are in the program, anytime, by any leader. This has been hugely helpful in getting everyone on the same page and we’re now doing better at personal progress interviews! The best resource is this page about it, found on lds.org.
After you log-on, it will bring you to this page:
Here you can see what YOU have accomplished-I recommend going and recording everything that you’re working on so you can familiarize yourself with how to use it. For example:
If you click on Divine Nature, this is what you\’ll see:
MORE: PERSONAL PROGRESS NIGHT: 8 GOALS IN 1
If you click on the start now link it will take you to that specific goal:
You can then complete that goal:
And you\’ll see how the number 1 goal is now dark blue and passed off. You can choose to journal here online, or continue to journal in a book. I told my girls I don’t care what they do, so long as they are journaling somewhere!

For our part as leaders, it isn’t until AFTER some of our girls started recording things online that we were able to see the Leader Summary link. Previous to that I searched and searched and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t there. I also spent some time in the Clerk’s office and made sure my calling had been assigned correctly.
And that’s pretty much it! We spend a Sunday meeting helping the girls learn how to log-on with their membership numbers and you can see we’re just taking off with the program. I have high hopes because this puts all of us on the same page-no more wondering who is keeping track of each girls progress and wondering how accurate the current log is. This way girls, their parents and their leaders can all see how things are going, and the girls can easily update it anytime, anywhere. Awesome.
If you have any questions, comment below! I\’m happy to help if I can!
Thank you so much for this! I’m a newbie and trying to get up to speed has been challenging!
My girls have lost enthusiasm because they know the program is ending and I’m trying to get them excited again ?
