Every once in awhile it becomes necessary for me to take a break from photographing the raw, journalistic realities of birth and just have fun shooting pretty girls in pretty dresses with pretty flowers in a pretty place. It’s not that I don’t love birth…it’s my favorite. It’s just that sometimes it’s nice to move people where I want, pose them and do some fun artistic stuff. Plus-I love when I don’t have to edit everything so clean and I just get to do whatever I want. This styled shoot was good for my soul.
This location is fantastic. It’s about 2 1/2 hours away from us in St George and about half an hour south of Las Vegas. We got up super early and headed down to shoot for the morning.
Lyndi and another friend were down in Vegas for WPPI so it seemed necessary to meet up with them and have some fun! I love shooting with Lyndi and it was incredible showing her this fun location!
